P5

Evaluation:
This project has proved quite challenging but also very educational and fun. I am very proud of how we, as a group, were able to work together and make a short story and film it. As a group we faced some major setbacks in the project; like having to re film our project, which meant we couldn't make the deadline and having someone in the group be absent for the majority of the lessons and shoots but we were able to overcome these setback and create the film. I have learnt that lighting is very important when filming because if the scene is too dark; it is very difficult to edit it so that it is visible. If I was to do this unit again I would make sure we filmed it right to begin with so that we wouldn't have to re-shoot so we could actually make the deadline.

5 screenshots:
1) In this screenshot, I edited it so that the scene is more visible. I did this by changing the colour grading to more of an orange colour. I also added a audio effect to gradually decrease the volume when the music for the titles was playing.
2) This scene was also quite dark but because I didn't want the film to have a orange look to it which would give it quite an uplifting feel I made it more blue to make it feel more uncomfortable and un-natural.
3) I had to match this scene with the darker scenes because this scene had allot of natural light.
4) Before this scene I used the transition effect 'fade to black' to show that it is a new day in the story
5) This scene was very tense and ended with a cliff hanger so I ended this scene with black.
